No more helmet!

Well, it's official! No more helmet! We went in for our last check-up last week, only to find that there is STILL no more growth. There hasn't been any change to his head shape since last September. Since this helmet wasn't doing it's job anymore, we decided to call it quits since James was going to grow out of it soon anyway. Fortunately, his funky shape isn't that noticeable with his hair, and hopefully it'll correct itself over time. Here is a picture of James right after the appointment.

We decided to celebrate this event by getting his hair cut! It was his first time, and James's hair was getting quite crazy. There is a definite curl to his hair, and he had developed a slight mullet (eek!) and side wings. We went to "Cookie Cutters" to get it cut, and it was so adorable! They have fun cars to sit in with their private TV for cartoons. They can also blow bubbles and play with toys to distract them during the hair cut. We had a cute girl named "Sue" who cut James's hair. I was sure that James was going to be a handful during the entire thing and not let her cut his hair, but he was distracted enough to let Sue do her thing. I think it turned out very well!
